The MRCOOL® VersaPro® Series 42K 90,000 BTU Gas Package Unit is an all-in-one heating and cooling solution engineered for consistent, year-round comfort. By combining a 13.4 SEER2 high-efficiency air conditioner with an 81% AFUE gas furnace, it delivers powerful cooling during summer heatwaves and dependable warmth in the coldest winter months. Its hybrid design provides an effective upgrade that encourages comfort and helps reduce monthly energy costs.
The system uses R-454B refrigerant, a next-generation formula with a dramatically lower global warming potential than older refrigerants, reducing environmental impact while maintaining excellent heating and cooling capabilities.
Built for durability, its power-painted galvanized steel cabinet defends against rust, weather damage, and wear, ensuring long-term reliability. The horizontal discharge configuration keeps operation quiet, while aluminum tubing with microchannel coils maximizes heat transfer efficiency and offers superior corrosion resistance compared to copper, reducing maintenance needs over time.
Inside, high-efficiency compressors and an ECM blower motor work together to deliver smooth, quiet, and consistent performance. Integrated safety controls guard against extreme pressure or coil temperature fluctuations, helping to maintain optimal operation even under demanding conditions.
The VersaPro® 42K's compact footprint and support for both horizontal and downflow installations make it easy to fit into tight spaces. An LP conversion kit is included for quick propane compatibility, and the convenient access panel simplifies servicing.
