The MRCOOL® Universal® Series 24K Air Handler is built to deliver powerful, reliable, and energy-efficient comfort all year long. Whether you’re facing freezing winters or scorching summers, this compact unit works hard to maintain your ideal indoor temperature while reducing overall energy consumption—helping to lower monthly utility bills.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the 24K Air Handler supports upflow, downflow, and horizontal installations. Its slim profile makes it easy to install in a variety of spaces, including attics, closets, and crawlspaces. For added convenience, it’s compatible with the MRCOOL® NO-VAC® Quick Connect® line set (sold separately), which eliminates the need for vacuuming or flaring—streamlining installation and saving time.
To enhance performance during colder months, the unit also supports optional Universal® Series Heat Kits, providing additional heating capacity and emergency backup heat when needed.
At the heart of the air handler is an M-shaped evaporator coil with a large surface area that improves airflow and maximizes heat exchange. Made from 100% aluminum, the coil is corrosion-resistant for long-lasting durability. Despite its powerful performance, the unit operates at whisper-quiet sound levels, ensuring comfort without disruption.
